First up is my Ripple Blanket! Yay!! A whole year later I have a blanket sized, edged, ripple blanket. I still love the colours as much today as I did when I started back in January 2013.
My little product model:
She makes the colours really pop!
I am soooo happy to be finished this. I have quite a bit of yarn left over, so some stash busting will be in order. Not yet though, I want to move on to other yarn for a while!
Second up is my CCN 'Bakery' cross stitch. I started this in January with great gusto but admittedly did get a bit bored with it by the end. I think it is such a cute design, but I am much better stitching smaller pieces that only take me a few weeks tops.
For now it's hanging in my kitchen, only because I hate to put it away so soon after stitching it. Such a bummer to not be completely in love with something you spent so much time on, no?
So now I have two voids to fill: what to choose? Another blanket? Which cross stitch chart? Something new? A long overdue UFO?
What are you working on?

Great color combo in the afghan. Cute model. I love the bakery cross-stitch. I want a cupcake!
Beautiful blanket! Love the beach-y colours...and the cross stitch is so sweet! And so neatly done, I must add...have you seen The Frosted Pumpkin samplers? Monthly cute makes, all quite small, might be just what you're looking for (and I need to get started on mine, so I'm looking for someone to give me a swift kick and do it, too!). Chrissie x
Oh my, such a beautiful blanket, adn all finished up. Great colours and great pattern. I also love your stitched finish. It's a very nice design. Looking forward to seeing your new choices.
Beautifully done! And your dog is adorable. By the way, I really like the frames you choose for your cross stitch projects.
What a beautiful blanket, just love the colours...and the dog is adorable.
I think both projects are FAB. I don't think I could manage another blanket after the back of another one. I like a few little projects inbetween that I can pop in my Christmas box. Jo x
Both your blanket and your little stitchery are beautiful! I love ripple blankets and making one is definitely on my list of things I must crochet this year.

I love your new blanket....the colours work really well! And your cross stitch picture is beautiful too. Always feels strange when a big project is finished....I hope you find a nice new one (or two) to replace these with!
Happy weekend.
